Default Hard to decide

Hi guys, i have hard to decide whcih of the two following combos I should use, please help me.

THIS IS FOR PVE

First Build

1. -Warrior skill-
2. -Warrior skill-
3. -Warrior skill-
4. -Warrior skill-
5. Signet of agony
6. Plague Touch
7. Virulence
8. Rez

In this build I use S. of agony ---> Plague touch ---> Virulence and I have 10 degen on a guy, it will cost me 10 energy and 4 seconds to do this combo.

THIS IS FOR PVE

Second Build
1. -Warrior skill-
2. -Warrior skill-
3. -Warrior skill-
4. -Warrior skill-
5. -Warrior skill-
6. Life transfer
7. Life siphon
8. Rez

In this build I use life transfer and life siphon on samge guy to make him have about 7-9 dgen and me 7-9 regen. Only problem is long recharge time, 20 energy it takes and long casting time.

So what do you guys think I should choose?

First one, but make sure you don't spread the diasease to your team.

I prefer the 1st also. You can also use a condition like bleed or deep wound from an attack to get Virulence going. The advantage of your setup is that you don't have to actually hit them so is unaffected by stances, blindness, etc.

I say the first one is the better one.

But the only problem I have with this build is that, there is no room left for healing sig. healing sig had helped me out alot in pvp. But other wise, the build is pretty darn solid.

Even for PvE, both builds are absolutely terrible.

Well, to add something. . .

Virulence builds only work with casters. And even then, they tend to work very poorly. At least without a great deal of help from your teammates and a smart build. So scratch 1.

Lifer Xfer, or pure degen builds, only work well with casters, unless the W or R degenning is simply using one or maybe two cheap skills to round out the efforts of a clever team tactic. See above.

There are a gazillion tricks to adding more punch to a W, just need to read the board (in lieu of a functional search mechanism).
